The credential earner understands base register addressing for code and data and is able to convert basic zSeries assembler instructions to machine code and vice versa. They can use TSO and ISPF to create, edit and submit programs for assembly and execution. The earner knows how to work with zOS instructions to process variable length fields, records and tables, has basic skills with Macro Facility and Conditional Assembler Language, and can describe the characteristics of reentrant programs.
